Has your countdown for your valentine begun?

I am feeling the pressure this year – as the holiday falls on Sunday -
giving over the entire day to a romantic, extended celebration. Eeeek!

So in case anyone else feels the same, I will try and design my day while
assisting you with yours.

First up, my favorite, tasty, tiny treat. I don’t think words or even this
gorgeous photo of our Bloomingdale’s truffle tea party decor can do these
ANY type of culinary justice.

My new BFF Candice opened www.cacaobakery.etsy.com right here in Chicago.
She sent us a box of her signature Cake Truffles, and for my entire staff
it was love at first bite. These tiny little decadent truffles are moist,
soft, dense cake inside, then dipped in melted chocolate for the perfect
finish.

I cannot oversell the Lavender Chocolate flavor. She served them last week
at our big Bloomingdale’s Pre Wedding Party – displayed in stacked tiers
with several other flavors for a Cake Truffle Tasting Bar at our Engagement
Cocktail Party vignette. I haven’t stopped getting emails about them -
clients have been dreaming about them in their sleep.

The best part is this, she uses organic, all natural ingredients and can do
almost anything gluten free. All hail St. Candice!

The other best part is that she ships all over the country! Gotta love
etsy.
