Magnificent Maude’s

There’s a new dame in town.
Her name?
Maude.

Her bar?
Magnificent.
Cozy.
Dark.

It’s Paris Boho Chic.
J’adore.

The cocktails?
Really, really fun, French and fabulous.

Ann and Pierce ordered not one, not two, not three, but FOUR bottles of Champagne.
For four of us.

Le Menu c’est magnifique.
All the frenchy faves, all on one carte.

First course?
Maude’s Plateaux.

First come the quartet of sauces.
The shrimp seasoning “to sprinkle” was my favorite.

The oysters, the clams, the salmon ceviche, the king crab, the lobster, the mussels…
Oh my.

I wouldn’t have thought the four of us could have put a DENT in the towering, three tiered raw bar.
But…
It was all empty shells and ice in about ten minutes.

Next course:
The Shaved Veg Salad with Blue and Walnuts.
There simply aren’t words…
I will be returning often, and taking out. It’s that good.

Third course?
Pommes Frites. Two orders.
Loved the presentation.

Fourth:
Maude’s Steak. Du Jour? Ribeye.

And of course, Cassoulet. No french dinner is complete without.
Du Jour: Duck Confit, Homemade Garlic Sausage, Pork Belly.
Gorgeous private dining room on the second floor, for all your upcoming parties, dinners, celebrations.
Merci beaucoup Ann and Pierce, for another beautiful, memorable, gastronomic feast.
Au revoir Maude.
A bientot.
