I have stumbled into heaven perusing the teeny tiny gourmet general store market Bi-Rite on 18th in The Gourmet Ghetto/Mission District in San Francisco .
Started in 1940 right here at the same darling address, and now run by a second generation of family owners, Bi_Rite is a true and trusted local purveyor of sustainable, organic foods.

The narrow, vintage aisles are chock full of produce and products direct from their three local farms around the Bay Area.

Look at the beauty of the bounty of California produce…kiwi berries and candy stripe figs?
