Dinner Divine a la Philly Flower Show
Voila! Spring has sprung.
It is one of my favorite inspiration weeks of the year…The Philly Flower Show!
Just when I can’t bear the site of another dreary Chicago winter day, a heady dose of spring arrives with the largest indoor flower show in the world. Hard to believe it first opened it’s doors in 1829.
And this year, Philadelphia’s Moda Botanica has done it yet again. This dinner party display is mind blowing. I simply cannot stop looking at it. I cannot stop thinking about it. I cannot stop obsessing over each perfect detail.
Here is the first major wow – this entire over the top, gorgeous, stunning, inventive, display is housed inside of a rustic metal boxcar container. INCREDIBLE!
They mirrored the walls and tabletop, creating a chic, royal banquet in the most surprising of settings. The soft, textural florals, the warm, glowing bulbs, all reflecting off of each and every magical surface.
Second wow – the table is comprised of stacked wooden palettes – the ultimate repurposed green design. Mirrored finish, glamorous design ontop wooden palettes. Who knew?
Third – oh – those luscious florals! This entire display rivals Jeff Leatham in all his glory en Georges V. The entire tabletop transports me to the most intimate, perfect, beautiful, enchanting dining table I could ever dream of.
Fourth – those silk orchid topped pillows. I want to sink into one right now, sip champagne, and laugh for hours with my favorite friends and family immersed in this fantasy vignette.
And you?
