My job REALLY is difficult some days.

Like today, I HAVE to spend this afternoon at dear, darling Magnolia Cupcakes on Columbus.

Painful, isn’t it?

My beautiful bride Stacey and I are designing the most adorable cupcake favor boxes for her gorgeous July wedding – filled with NYC details at every twist and turn.

You see, Bill, her fabulous fiance, secretly flew to NY and surprised her with a proposal ontop the Empire State Building (dear old Dad was in on the surprise).

Speechless, right?

Now back to Magnolia. We are flying these lovelies in from NYC and I am secretly performing a before and after shipping taste test.

The new Columbus Ave Cafe is even more precious than Bleeker in the Village – which I find almost impossible to believe I am even admitting.

It’s marble cafe tables and vintage lace curtains are simply every bit as sweet as this buttercream icing.
