  I had the BEST Mother’s Day. And I hope you did too.     Here is how I spent my day. Chicago Speakeasy style…inside one of the city’s most breathtaking spaces, The Museum of Contemporary Art.     We partied it up Prohibition chic style. The greatest gift of all, I think, is the gift of your written words. Parker gave me a second grade research project for Mother’s Day, that he has been working on for weeks. It is titled "All About Deborah Anne Lilly", and consists of a cover, table of contents, my life as a second grader, my favorite memories, and so much more. Of course, I started crying just opening the manilla envelope. I knew what was inside. I have been served. And celebrating all weekend… and I hope all you other mothers have been too. My darling daughter whipped this salad up for me…handcrafted from pipe cleaners. I have been enjoying it for hours…and amazed by the clever mind of a mere ten year old. She served me, on my very favorite wedding china, Nantucket Wedgewood, designed on island by the amazing man behind Weeds, one of the country’s most gorgeous, elegant entertaining shops in it’s day.
