The Poppy has to be one of the most joyful flowers in the world.

Like the Peony, their growing season is quite short, yet they are long in beauty and glamour.

Here in California, they are in full bloom on every corner I turn.

They proudly pop out of gardens grand and small, as a fresh citrus hued burst saluting the spring season.
