The city of light – how the phrase rings true no matter what the time of day.

Here, on my very favorite bridge in all the city, is la belle Pont des Arts at sunset. The sky glows and moves like no other, especially over the glorious Seine.

White puffs of clouds dot the luminescent french blue sky. The sun changes from gold to rose to apricot throughout the afternoon – it is so mezmerizing to watch and enchanting, just like Paris, to absorb.

The painter’s sky, as it is called here, sets the stage for artists at each and every turn, just as it has for hundreds of years. Here on the bridge there are of course painters, as well as musicians of every possible age and genre, mimes, living "human" statues, and more.

C’est la vie romantique – c’est parfait.
