Avery House meets I Do Films

I wanted to take a minute to make a little personal post to catch everyone up on something that I recently realized I hadn’t publicly shared here on the blog. Many of you already know this but some of you may not. Back in October we made one of our best decisions yet and moved our studio to Evanston and began sharing studio space with the cinematography company, I Do Films. We met the filmmakers and co-owners of I Do Films, Matt and Lori, in early 2010. Immediately we not only knew there was a connection between our businesses but also realized that we loved hanging out together and quickly found ourselves collaborating on personal shoots as often as we could. The super 8mm film below was a promotional/”about us” video that we were excited to get to be a part of. The vision was to recreate the “Wonder Years” intro and I think it went of pretty well.

Not only do we love Evanston, but we also love having the community and support that comes along with sharing a space together. The I Do Films team is super creative and so much fun to be around. Our new studio is a perfect little two story house right in the heart of Evanston’s arts district and we love coming to work here everyday. We feel so thankful for the opportunity to collaborate daily with other like-minded business owners. The second film below was created when we made the decision to share studio space and has become a great way for all of our Avery House and I Do Films clients to get to know each of us a little better. Enjoy!
